For this challenge I was thinking about a Dutch expression: 'vers van de pers' which means something like freshly published. Unfortunatly the English expression is 'hot from press'. Anyway, a fresh pile of reading material for the Spring Hollidays.

This is a great picture. There is nothing more enticing than a pile of fresh new books to read. I love the way you've got your artist's doll holding on to them, to.
A new pile of books! Love it! What is the name of your mannequin? Wonderfulf sketch.
I just love your series with the manikin. They always make me smile.
Yeah, nothing like a fresh book to bring on the anticipation. Great color work! Well done.
Very nice drawing...I love the books, they look great!

This is a beautiful sketch! Made me think of that wonderful 'fresh' feeling of a new book not yet opened. One of my favourite things. I'm rather interested in that book 'My 10 zen seconds.'
I have an artist's mannekin - her name is Clothilde which is not a name anyone would usually have these days.
You've done a lovely paint sketch - a satck of books - what a delight.
Clothilde is a very unusal name, indeed. It makes me think of the middle ages... Well, I have three of them, they don't have namen (maybe I should think about it- Teri C also asked) I like them without face, clothes, and name...so they can represent everytime a new idea, a new feeling, a new movement,...
Thanks for the comments
Great pages - all of them! This one especially caught my eye. Love the stack of books.
